Dear Martin’s family,
Those of us who continue to hold down the fort here at Martins have arrived at the difficult but, what we think is, prudent decision to postpone indefinitely the proposed Martin’s Annual Potluck and General Meeting which we had planned for Sunday, September 12th.
In the face of rapidly rising numbers of Covid-19 cases in the Bay area and, specifically, in the Mission District where, during the past month they have increased by 1400%, we feel the risks of bringing together a large gathering of people are too high.
Needless to say, our priority must always be the ability to safely feed our guests for as long as we are able.
We will reschedule our meeting and reunion as soon as we feel things have changed sufficiently for the better. In the meantime, we are grateful for the support that you continue to show us from wherever you are. Please stay safe!
